Ben really hit the nail on the head with this one. I was after something with slightly more volume up front to make getting into waves easier but without sacrificing performance.

I asked for something that would go well in steep barreling beach breaks and it certainly does this well. It holds a rail well and keeps its speed when driving through a turn. I've also ridden Shifty in weaker sloppy waves and it feels great in anything over waist to chest high which makes for a very versatile board.

It's my go to board for this Autumn/Winter.
